About Us

How it all started

The business was started in Queenscliff back in the 1960’s as 'Thompsons Public Address' run by Daryl Thompson (Pictured right).

As time went on the business and demand grew for professional sound equipment with knowledgeable operators.

Daryl employed Stephen McWilliam in 1975 and since that time the business has grown into a specialist public address business providing sound for events including agricultural shows, surf lifesaving events, field days, professional cycling tours, festivals, rallies and marathons.

Daryl passed away in 2003 leaving Stephen and his sons Mark and Jason to carry on the business.
